Big Bale Feeders from Tuffernhell
Look at these new big bale feeders being manufactured by Mike Fey at Tuffernhell Goat Equipment in Groton, SD. They will hold anything up to and including a ton bale. There are only a limited amount of them is use so
far, but the producers who are using them are liking them a whole bunch and report virtually no wasted hay. They are priced at $500 each FOB Groton. Mike can be reached by e-mail at: thefeys@nvc.net or you can reach him by phone in Groton, South Dakota at 605-395-6981.

Our new Tuffernhell kidding pens arrived April 18, 2008.
They were installed by Tuffernhell owner, Mike Fey, his daughter Steph and Charming Assistant Randy.
They even cleaned out the barn for us before they installed the pens.
After they unloaded the pens and a couple of 12' pasture gates we ordered, Mike had to make sure the paint was good on them so he touched it up a little prior to moving the gates and pens into the barn.
When they had almost all the pens and gates installed Mike noticed a little place where the paint needed to be touched up.
The pens are almost done but Mike noticed another little place that needed paint. These pens are going to collapse from the weight of all the paint on them.
Finally, the pens are all in, Mike has put away his paint gun and we're ready to start putting goats in. This is taken from the south door of the barn looking across the 4' X 4' creep pen at the West
side wall where there are 5 - 7' X 4' pens. Notice how the 6' high bow gates fit snug against the ceiling.
This is taken from the south door, looking to the north wall, where there are 3 - 7' X 4' pens. The pens are 42" high. Notice how the
pen on the far left squeezes in a little at the back due to a "little measuring mistake" I made.
And finally, here is the front of the 4' X 4' creep pen with it's solid door that can be fastened shut or fastened open flush against the
front of the pen. The creep pen is constructed with a bow gate like the other pens so it can be used as a kidding pen in a pinch.
Mike, Steph and Randy did a top job on our pens and gates and we recommend them highly. They are goat ranchers and know how to manufacture equipment that is stout enough to hold your goats
and made with your goats well being and safety in mind. Mike can be reached by e-mail at: thefeys@nvc.net or you can reach him by phone in Groton, South Dakota at 605-395-6981.
